I came in expecting some sort of puzzle game about pizza, but it turned into so much more. It's a lesson that we all should learn. I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking for a surprisingly moving story in under an hour. Great game!
Introspection through pizza. Played through at a friend's house and lost my mind. Hard recommend if you want a compelling journey in about half an hour's time
This game is such an expertly crafted weird little gem. Perfectly artisanal and high quality ingredients. But I gotta know...do you guys have a band camp? I really love that main menu theme
Well I did it. I went back and got every worse ending to 100% the game. I absolutely adore this game and wish I could erase every memory of it from my mind in order to experience it again for the first time.
It felt fitting to play this on Father's day. I loved the eery, uneasy tone of this game--the music and cracked screen effects raise the tension to the next level. I really felt the same confusion and horror of the narrator as the scene repeated itself in unpredictable ways and he fell deeper and deeper into the time/space loop. Even though there are limited selection options and endings in this game, each scene feels fresh because of the new visual/textual clues. On another note, I wish more dads were able to come to the realizations the narrator did (albeit through supernatural means) and tried to make amends.
Realization that the man in the story needs to come to: there are anti-male developers who want to paint men as the villains when in their very stories the father is sympathetic character who tries to do what's right while his daughter is snooty and angry for no reason.
The game serves as a giant apologia for father-hate and man-hate. "Oh I'm not angry at men in my family because I'm a bad person, I'm angry at them because THEY'RE a bad person" that's not how it works jack. Anger is the emotion of the bully, not the victim. Stop with the garbage, and the anti-male subtext.
Game should autosave your progress at the beginning of every timeloop. When you start again after closing click "Continue" from the main menu. If you fail and get a bad ending it will start you at the timeloop you were in before you failed so you can try again.
I guess I should be more clear. There are 2 types of endings to most of the timeloops. Bad ending and Worse ending. Bad ending will move you forward to the next timeloop, worse ending will start the timeloop again. If it seems like you keep losing even though you did everything right, you are actually making progress in the game.
Wow. I am absolutely amazed. I never thought I would cry for a game called Order a Pizza, but I did. I cried a bit, and I played it all in one sit because I needed to know how it would end. Thank you so much for this game!!
I really loved playing this game. It's such a beautifully done visual novel and it's amazing that this was made in such a short amount of time; there are a lot of bad game jam games out there and this one is as good as games that developers spend a year+ on. It's really worth playing.
Thank you so much for this game! I saw it on Twitter and intended on playing it, and I think I managed to play it at the perfect time. It's a very complete experience, and I enjoyed the format of the dialogue. Very awesome, and thank you for making it!
Hey, your game was a really great experience! You did so well in combining the different aspects of the story and balancing them as well as presenting them to the player (in addition with very nice and fitting illustration) . You really had me hooked and surprised me a number of times with the turn of events while also tied all loose ends together in the end, I enjoyed this a lot. I'm very much looking forward to everything you have in mind for future projects. thank you for this game. :)
Thank you! We are so glad you had a great experience playing our weird little game. Comments like these are so motivating for us, so thanks for taking the time to play our game and let us know what you thought. It means a lot to us :)
Just finished getting all the bad and the worse endings. I'm not particularly good at completing games without a walkthrough so I'm pretty proud of myself.
I adore this game! The art, the animations, the innovative concept, the excellent execution, the polish and oomph, the character design, the colors, the music, the twists and surprises. . . . I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I am extremely impressed that your team got all this done within a mere month! Kudos to your team!
More than anything else, the message/theme of the game really shines through. I LOVE games that have a little more thought put into the choice mechanic, rather than the simpler affection-points type of system. The way you choose to communicate your message really makes perfect sense. You had me nodding along enthusiastically as I barrelled toward the (true) ending. <3
To sum it all up, thank you for making this wonderful game and sharing it with us. I'm waiting with bated breath for any future games that this team might release!
This comment really made our day! Thank you for all your kind words and we are so glad you had a good experience playing our game. It's so cool that you played through all the endings - we love it when people %100 Order a Pizza.
We tried to do something different with the VN format and it is very encouraging that people are enjoying it.
Thanks again for this comment and for the reply on our LemmaSoft thread. We are hard at work on a much bigger game and it is so motivating to hear that you want to see more from us.
I'm amazed that this was your first game together as a team, and that you did this all within the course of a month. It was incredibly well done. I'm actually a writer/video producer for GameLuster, and this is one of the games I'll be playing for the next episode of our Indie Power Hour series!

Happy review: https://alexsirac.com/order-a-pizza/
I loved this small game. Thank you for making it!
Gave me a new philosophy on pizza
Good game, but there's quite a few typos.
Pizza is love, Pizza is life...
Pizza. Pizza, Pizza, Pizza! Pizza... PIZZA PIZZA!!! Pizza.
That was a 5 star trip, same as everyone enjoyed the deep emotional pizza
Pizza pizza pizza.

Expected some dumb little dating sim or somethin, got a surprisingly unpredictable character study. Art.
I just finished the game and it’s great. It’s marvelous in a small size. I loved it!

Thanks, so glad you liked it! We do in fact have a band camp here - https://rocketadrift.bandcamp.com/
I burst out laughing when I ordered a plain pizza with nothing on it, definitely the best ending by far and well worth the $2
Well I did it. I went back and got every worse ending to 100% the game. I absolutely adore this game and wish I could erase every memory of it from my mind in order to experience it again for the first time.
Thanks so much!
This game was pretty haunting. I enjoyed the way the game revealed details about the father, and foreshadowed exactly what sort of person he was.
The only bad thing about this game is that there was no option to put pineapple on the pizza :p.

lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This game...what can I say, it was cheesy, saucy, doughy...it ruined my life. Great game though. Cute, simple, and short.
Trippy! I loved it :)
Well that was an interesting ride...Very nice!
Hi! This game looks fun. But how do I save? I lost a good chunk of play because I had no instructions.

Thank you very much!
I ended up getting to an ending in one sitting, can't wait to try others! =D

Never has ordering a pizza been more stressful before
Great game!

p.s. Love your Abby voice. It's perfect!
This game is dope <3
This made me cry a little. Very good game, with a cool art style and good pacing. A short game.
This was incredible and maybe made me cry a little bit? Super excellent job with this, guys.
Love it! The art is beautiful, and the story is the perfect mix of surreal and moving. Jeremy is my new higher power.
Pizza, pizza pizza pizza. Pizza pizza pizza Pizza pizza pizza? PIZZA!
PIZZA!
Nice Game, love how you packaged something very serious in a very entertaining Calzone. A little tedious to get the other endings.
Came here from Dark Future Dice :D
Awesome! Thanks for playing

this is really well-made, with very good pacing! a perfectly executed idea. i quite enjoyed it, great work!
Thanks so much!
you should make a number 2
We're working on a large scale game next. It's not pizza related but it still has our brand of weirdness.
yessss
I really liked this game but can't seem to figure out how to get the super bad endings.
Thanks for playing! Try making the wrong pizzas on every level you can. Hope that helps!
